After we establish a good fit and budget that works we come to your house to take some measure ups, a walk through video and pictures which allows us to build a detailed scope to send out to our team for pricing.

Having a clear understanding of your budget allows your contractor to steer you towards attainable objectives while staying within your financial scope. Talking budget also gives your contractor the opportunity to let you know if they can do your project for the amount you have. All contractors have different operating costs and have to price projects according to not only the service they provide but the amount it costs them to produce the service.
Generally, you'll be required to have a permit to begin construction, such as:
- Any new construction (new buildings and/or renovations to existing buildings that create a new area)
- Changing the land use of an existing commercial space
- Adding a secondary suite to an existing house
- Renovation projects that include moving interior walls and/or existing plumbing, electrical, or gas lines
- Structural repairs
- Drywall repairs to fire separations in multi-unit residential buildings
- Building or altering a garage, shed, or deck
- Renovating or tenant improvements for a new or existing commercial space
Change orders are additional jobs that modify your project's scope of work and budget. There are 3 categories of change orders: site condition, client request, error/omission. Change orders can also be a reduction of the scope of work, which should result in a credit in the project cost. Our process is for our on site team to submit the CO info to our office, who then send that info with pricing on a signable sheet to the client. Once signed off on we can move forward with the change or credit.
- All projects can have different payment plan structures based on the size and complexity of the project.
- 0 to 10k - 50% deposit before project start and 50% upon project completion
- Projects above 10k payments will be based on project milestones usually 4 payments
- Projects above 150k payments will be based on project milestones - anticipate 1 payment per month until project completion.
Yes, deposits are necessary to be able to lock in our trades and order materials prior to projects starting.
Coastal Glades does not offer financing, for financing options you can chat with your local bank or credit union.
